Touro University Nevada was established in 2004 to help address critical personnel needs in health sciences and education and as a resource for community service in the state of Nevada. The university is home to more than 1,300 students in a wide range of degree programs. Many of these programs are the first of their kind in the state of Nevada.

The Henderson, Nevada, campus is part of Touro College and University System in New York, an international system of Jewish-sponsored, nonprofit institutions of higher and professional education. Touro University Nevada is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Community Outreach and Service Serving the community is a central part of TUN’s mission.
Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities
Developed to address a growing community need, Touro University Nevada’s Center is the only facility of its kind in Nevada. The Center offers multidisciplinary, comprehensive diagnostics services, therapy and supportive resources for families dealing with Autism and other developmental disorders.
Touro Health Center
Touro University also offers a full-service, multispecialty physician’s office, staffed by practicing faculty members. The Health Center is open to the community and accepts most major insurance. Specialties include rheumatology, primary care, geriatrics and osteopathic manipulative medicine.
Stallman Touro Clinic at The Shade Tree
In 2008 the university opened the clinic at Shade Tree, a shelter for abused and homeless women and children. Faculty and students from Touro staff the clinic on a weekly basis and provide on-going medical care to the residents of the shelter.
Caring Without Walls
This community outreach program provides free health screenings and education at community events. The program targets those with limited access to health care services in Southern Nevada and is delivered by students under faculty supervision.
Physical Therapy Clinic
Led by physical therapy students under faculty supervision, this free clinic is offered weekly to local community members who have exceeded their allotted insurance coverage or who do not have insurance.
