From The PENTA Building Group’s inception in May 2000, the three founding partners set out to gather the best team in the business, laying a foundation that allowed for expansion and challenging opportunities, a warm work environment and individual growth. More importantly, PENTA established a personalized approach to all of its services, believing that clear, open communication is a prerequisite for a successful project. In time, clients have come to rely on the strength and talent of PENTA’s general contracting and construction-management services. Because of their strong record of success, PENTA has been awarded many projects on a sole-source basis.
PENTA is a locally owned and nationally recognized general contractor headquartered in Las Vegas, with additional offices in Reno, Nevada; Phoenix, Arizona; Los Angeles and Palm Desert, California; and Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a general contractor, construction manager and concrete subcontractor, PENTA partners with every member of the development, design and construction team to build a variety of projects ranging in size and scope. PENTA provides services on a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) basis with preconstruction services (e.g., budgeting, scheduling, Building Information Modeling, constructability review) commencing early in the design phase, under a traditional general contractor arrangement or on a Design-Build basis.
The success and experience of PENTA spans a variety of market segments including hospitality and entertainment, gaming, education, health care, Native American projects, retail and tenant improvements, commercial, industrial, public works, mining and parking structures.
PENTA has completed more than 500 projects since its inception in 2000. The most notable of which in Las Vegas include Aliante Station Casino + Hotel; World Market Center Building C and garage; The Grandview at Las Vegas Timeshare Resort; Encore Beach Club; Rush Tower at the Golden Nugget; the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department headquarters; University of Nevada, Las Vegas Student Union; 30 projects at Caesars Palace, including the Caesars Convention Center; multiple projects at the Rio Hotel Casino, including the Rio Convention Center; multiple projects at Harrah’s; and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville at the Flamingo. Recent projects include the Harmon Corner Retail Center across from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Las Vegas Boulevard, the Readiness Center for the Army National Guard and the remodel of the Las Vegas City Hall for the new Zappos.com corporate headquarters.
In addition to constructing new multimillion-dollar large “ground up” commercial projects, PENTA’s team has extensive experience and capabilities in remodels, renovations, tenant improvement build-outs and expansions of existing facilities. A significant, continuous portion of PENTA’s backlog consists of these types of projects.
