Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC is home to Nevada's only designated Pediatric Trauma Center, Burn Care Center and Transplant Center. Children's Hospital of Nevada's Emergency Department of staffed around-the-clock with Board-Certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Physicians, capable of dealing with any life-threatening pediatric emergency. Children's Hospital of Nevada's Pediatric Sedation Service is the only one of its kind in the state. Children's Hospital of Nevada is also home to the Family Resource Center, offering education for new parents on everything from breastfeeding to infant massage.
